Huawei’s triple foldable smartphone Mate XT, which was launched last year, has surpassed a significant threshold by exceeding 400 thousand units in global sales. Despite its high price starting at $2,700, this figure, which was reached in a short time, revealed that user interest was intense.
Huawei Mate XT’s sales figures exceed expectations
With its three-fold form, the Mate XT became one of the firsts not only for Huawei but also for the smartphone industry. Sales in the first wave after the launch were far above expectations. When demand outpaced supply, the price of the device rose to $6,800 on second-hand and third-party sales platforms.

There are three different versions of the model. The entry-level version with 16 GB RAM and 256 GB storage capacity is priced at approximately $2,720, but it is currently out of stock. The version with 512 GB storage is sold for $2,990, while the top-level model with 1 TB is sold for $3,260.
Huawei also introduced the Mate XT to the global market in February. The device, which is offered in a wide market extending from Malaysia to Saudi Arabia, continues to attract great interest despite user profiles in different regions.
Huawei’s breakthrough in the foldable phone market has also prompted rival manufacturers to take action. It has emerged that Samsung is working on a new smartphone that folds in three. So what do you think about this? You can share your views with us in the comments section below.
