Huawei has officially introduced the Nova 14 Vitality Edition in the Chinese market alongside its foldable phone, the Nova Flip S. Positioned as the fifth member of the series, this model sits just above the Nova 14i, which launched at the beginning of the month, and stands out with its ambitious features.
50MP OIS Camera and 5500mAh Battery
The Nova 14 Vitality Edition stands out with its modern design and powerful components. At the heart of the device is a flat 6.7-inch OLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Huawei claims this display can reach a peak brightness of 1,100 nits.

Offering a simple look with thin bezels, the phone features a frosted glass finish in white and blue, while the black model comes with a flat back. The device is 7.15 mm thick and weighs just 191 grams. It runs HarmonyOS 5.1 out of the box, promising a seamless experience with its performance and ecosystem connectivity.
The phone is available with two storage options: 256GB and 512GB. While Huawei hasn’t officially announced which chipset is used, the device is expected to handle daily tasks and games with ease.
The camera and battery features are the highlights of the Nova 14 Vitality Edition. The rear panel features a 50MP RYYB main camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). This sensor is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Huawei’s RYYB filter is known for its ability to capture more light in low light.
For selfies and video calls, the front of the device features a high-resolution 50MP sensor with a 1/2.5-inch sensor. The Nova 14 Vitality Edition comes with a large 5,500mAh battery and supports 66W fast charging. This combination allows for a comfortable day on a single charge and a quick top-up.
The Nova 14 Vitality Edition enhances the user experience with additional features. Its IP65 certification ensures resistance to dust and low-pressure water jets. Other notable features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an IR Blaster (Infrared Transmitter) for controlling home devices.
The Huawei Nova 14 Vitality Edition is launching in China with a very competitive price tag:
- 256GB model: CNY 2,149 (approximately $300)
- 512GB model: CNY 2,449 (approximately $345)
Sales of the device will begin on October 24th through Huawei’s official Vmall store. Whether the model will be available globally, especially in Turkey, remains to be seen.
