Huawei has once again taken its place on the technology agenda with its flagship Pura 80 series. While the series is expected to be introduced in the second quarter of this year, it is stated that three models will be released: Pura 80, Pura 80 Pro and Pura 80 Ultra. It is said that the Pura 80 Pro model will stand out with its camera features.
Huawei Pura 80 Pro will stand out with its camera
It is stated that Huawei has included a 50-megapixel, 1-inch RYYB sensor that it developed in this model. Although it was previously suggested that the Sony IMX989 sensor was tested in the device, Huawei’s final choice was its own production sensor.

The RYYB (red-yellow-yellow-blue) color filter array provides higher light reception compared to traditional RGB sensors, especially in low light conditions. In addition to the main camera, it was stated that the Pura 80 Pro model will also feature a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens.
It is reported that all three cameras will work with the RYYB filter, thus keeping the overall light sensitivity at a high level. Huawei can take an ambitious position especially in the field of mobile photography with this triple camera system.
We can say that the screen of the device is another striking element. The Pura 80 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch, 1.5K resolution LTPO technology OLED panel. Thanks to LTPO technology, the screen can automatically adjust the refresh rate according to the usage scenario.
