The Shangjie H5, a product of the Huawei-SAIC partnership that has gone on pre-sale in China, has entered the automotive world with prices starting at $23,600. The model, which will be officially launched on September 23rd, offers both all-electric and extended-range options.
Huawei Shangjie H5 goes on sale
Huawei’s intelligent driving technology meets SAIC’s production know-how in the Shangjie H5. The vehicle features Huawei’s latest intelligent driving assistance system, Huawei ADS 4. The exterior design features a closed front grille, with the Shangjie logo prominently positioned in the center. The roof also features a LiDAR system, an illuminated brand logo, and blue lights indicating intelligent driving.

The model’s side doors feature traditional door handles instead of hidden door handles. The vehicle measures 4780 mm in length, 1910 mm in width, and 1664 mm in height. At the rear, the LED taillights extending from the front and the centrally positioned Shangjie logo create a modern look.
The interior is notable for its digital instrument cluster and large multimedia screen. Features include a three-spoke sporty steering wheel, wireless charging, and a panoramic glass roof. Rear passengers also receive a center armrest and a separate entertainment screen.
The fully electric version of the Shangjie H5 features an 80 kWh battery pack, providing a range of up to 655 kilometers. Fuel consumption is stated as 13.4 kWh per 100 kilometers. The extended-range version offers a pure electric range of 235 kilometers, for a total range of up to 1,360 kilometers.
