Huawei is preparing to introduce its new Watch GT 5 model on September 19, 2024. The new model brings much more features than the previous Watch GT 4. With its health tracking, advanced sports modes and stylish design, it could be one of the most talked-about smartwatches of this year. Here are the details…
Huawei Watch GT 5 draws attention with its advanced health tracking and sports modes
The biggest upgrade is a new sensor technology called TruSense, which lets you track your health data much faster and more precisely. You’ll now be able to instantly see your heart rate, SpO2 (blood oxygen levels), body temperature, and even your cardiovascular risks.
With the newly added Health Glance feature, it will be possible to check more than 10 health indicators in just under 60 seconds. Huawei Watch GT 5 will be available in two sizes: 41 mm and 46 mm. Both models will come with a stylish rotating crown and a second programmable button.
The battery life of the watches is also quite impressive. The 41 mm model offers 7 days of use on a single charge, while the 46 mm model can last up to 14 days. The Watch GT 5 is also quite ambitious in terms of sports and activity tracking. With over 100 sports modes, this watch will be able to track all your activities, whether you are running, swimming or doing yoga. Moreover, thanks to its advanced GPS feature, it will be quite helpful for outdoor sports.
As for pricing, Huawei plans to offer the watch at a starting price of around 250 euros. Compared to rivals like the Apple Watch and Garmin, the Watch GT 5 could be an attractive option with its features and affordable price.
