Luxeed R7, produced in cooperation with Chery and Huawei, quickly established itself in the Chinese market. Accordingly, it realised more than 40 thousand deliveries in the first four months of its launch.
Luxeed R7’s sales success created controversy
According to January data, Luxeed has delivered 11,418 R7 units, contributing to sales totalling more than 43,000 units since its launch in October. This performance makes R7 a notable player in the Chinese market.
Launched on 24 September, the R7 was the second product of the Huawei-Chery partnership. In addition to the electric model, the EREV version was also introduced in December. The vehicle is marketed in Huawei stores together with the Aito and Stelato models.
Luxeed R7; It is offered in three different equipment options, Pro, Max and Ultra. The entry-level R7 Pro has a starting price of $ 37,600 and offers a range of 667 km. The top-level R7 Ultra starts at $48,900 and promises a range of 736 km with all-wheel drive.
The R7 is powered by a 215kW single rear engine or a 365kW dual all-wheel drive system. The vehicle, which includes an 800-volt platform for ultra-fast charging, can fill a range of 400 km in just 15 minutes. The vehicle, which is offered with an 82kWh battery as standard, also has a 100kWh battery option.
