Huawei continues its efforts to expand its product lineup. The Chinese brand is expected to introduce two new models in September. One of them is the Huawei Mate XT 2, which stands out with its triple-fold design, while the other is the Mate X7 model, featuring a book-style hinge.
Reliable industry sources have revealed the key features of the Huawei Mate X7. So, what can we expect from this foldable phone? Here are the details!
Huawei Mate X7 specifications revealed
According to Digital Chat Station, known for trustworthy leaks, the Huawei Mate X7 will come with a 7.95-inch internal display with a 2K resolution. The screen will also feature COE LTPO technology and ultra-thin glass (UTG).

The device is reportedly built on a next-generation platform, most likely powered by Huawei’s upcoming Kirin 9030 chipset. This chipset is also expected to be used in the Mate 80 series.
On the camera side, two different main cameras are being tested. The first is a 50 MP sensor with a 1/1.56-inch size, while the second is larger at 1/1.3 inches. Both sensors support a physical variable aperture. Additionally, the phone will include a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera with macro shooting capabilities.
The Huawei Mate X7 is said to offer high water resistance and will feature a slim design. The device will run on HarmonyOS 5.1, the same version used in the Pura 80 series.
