Samsung has officially confirmed that there will be no delay for the stable version of its highly anticipated One UI 8 interface, and the update will be released as planned in September. This major update will first be rolled out to the Galaxy S25 series devices.
No Delay for the One UI 8 Update
The statement that the stable version of One UI 8 is not experiencing any delays completely dispelled recent rumors to the contrary. We can now say that the stable version will be distributed in September, as previously announced.

The company also hinted that One UI 8 might not be limited to just the Galaxy S25 series at launch. An official stated, “We want to see One UI 8 on 10 phones next month,” signaling that the update’s scope could expand quickly.
In addition to the Galaxy S25 series, the Galaxy S25 Edge and Galaxy A56 are also highly likely to receive the stable update next month. Furthermore, Samsung could pleasantly surprise users of the Galaxy S24 series, Z Flip 6, and Z Fold 6 with the official update.
