MachineGames shared more information about its upcoming Indiana Jones adventure during Gamescom Opening Night Live. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will take players across multiple exotic global locales as Dr. Jones seeks historical relics.
Indiana Jones And The Great Circle release date revealed
Rather than a singular focus, the game will send Indiana Jones to destinations like the Vatican, the Himalayas, and Thai temples. Exploration and investigation will be emphasized over violence. Players can utilize disguises to sneak into restricted areas, like dressing as a priest to explore the Vatican stealthily.
Combat will provide less lethal options compared to MachineGames’ Wolfenstein games. Indy can throw objects to distract enemies or use his iconic whip for takedowns, like yanking enemies into barrels.

The presentation also included a release date announcement. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is targeting a December 9th, 2024 launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and Windows Store, as well as Xbox Game Pass. A PS5 version is planned for Spring 2025.
