Meta is developing its own chatbot with artificial intelligence to facilitate chatting on Instagram. Recently, Meta introduced its Meta AI bot on WhatsApp, and now it’s available on Instagram. Meta AI chat feature with artificial intelligence is coming to Instagram
Investing heavily in artificial intelligence, Meta is finally starting to reap the rewards of these investments. As a result, the Meta AI chatbot, which was first introduced for WhatsApp, is now available on Instagram. The feature, currently available to beta users, will soon be open to all Instagram users.
Chatting with Meta AI is similar to chatting with a friend via Instagram DMs. However, not all beta users on Instagram currently have access to this artificial intelligence feature. This artificial intelligence, which allows you to chat like ChatGPT, is actually no different from what was added to WhatsApp.
Meta’s artificial intelligence bot includes its developed language called Llama 2. As you know, Meta is also in the process of developing the Llama 3 artificial intelligence language. The artificial intelligence you chat with on Instagram DMs can provide recommendations. It is also possible to make predefined requests to Meta AI through a dropdown menu.
While Meta AI is still far from being a competitor to ChatGPT, using artificial intelligence in Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger is still a significant advantage. As you know, Instagram’s artificial features are not limited to Meta AI. Previously, artificial intelligence-supported features for rewriting Instagram stories and virtual friends emerged. However, these features are still in the trial phase.
It has been revealed that the rewriting feature will come to the Story section in the Instagram application.
With this new Instagram artificial intelligence message bot feature, currently, only chatting is possible. In short, the message bot reminiscent of the early days of ChatGPT does not yet offer creative artificial intelligence features. However, it wouldn’t be surprising if productive artificial intelligence support for creating posts, stories, and reels emerges in the future with Meta AI.
