Intel is gearing up to announce its next-generation desktop processor series as an upgrade to last year’s 13th-generation ‘Raptor Lake’ series, towards the end of this month. The new series, called ‘Raptor Lake Refresh,’ has been widely discussed in the past. With just a few weeks left until the launch, all models of Intel’s 14th Generation Raptor Lake Refresh processors have been leaked.
How it will be the 14th Generation Intel Processors?
In recent weeks, the new processor series has frequently made headlines, thanks to numerous leaks that have revealed important details, including core counts and clock speeds, of some of the key SKUs, including the flagship Core i9 14900K. Now, a new leak appears to have unveiled the fundamental features of the entire series.
The Raptor Lake Refresh series could comprise over two dozen models, starting from entry-level Intel 300 series chips and extending to the flagship. According to the list, the i9 units will consist of five models: Core i9-14900K, 14900KF, 14900F, 14900T, and 14900, all reported to feature 24 cores in total, with 8 Performance cores and 16 Efficiency cores.
Looking at the Core i7 series, it appears there will be four SKUs, including Core i7-14700K, 14700KF, 14700, and 14700T. All of them are said to have 20 cores in total, with 8 Performance cores and 12 Efficiency cores, along with up to 33 MB of L3 cache. This suggests that future Core i7 CPUs may have more cores compared to their predecessors.
Intel Raptor Lake refresh processor prices may receive updates of up to 15 percent. This will directly affect PC prices.
When it comes to the Core i5 series, the leaked document suggests a range of different core configurations for Core i5-14400, 14400F, and 14400T, with 6 Performance + 4 Efficiency cores, and for Core i5-14500, 14500T, and 14600, with 6 Performance + 4 Efficiency cores. The 14600T, 14600K, and 14600KF could all feature a configuration of 6 Performance + 8 Efficiency cores.
Finally, for the Core i3 series, which is said to include only 3 SKUs – Core i3-14100, 14100F, and 14100T – all of them will be 4 Performance-core processors with 12 MB of L3 cache. Additionally, the series will include dual-core Intel 300 and 300T CPUs with 6 MB of L3 cache and a clock speed of 3.9 GHz.
