Intel today announced the new Intel Core 14th Generation desktop processor family. As the pioneer of the series, the event was led by the Core i9-14900K processor. 14th generation Intel Core series processors can accelerate to 6 GHz in one step!
The new Intel Core i9-14900K comes out of the box with 24 cores and 32 threads, with a frequency speed of up to 6 GHz out of the box. Also, compared to the previous generation, the Intel Core i7-14700K comes with a total of 20 cores and 28 threads thanks to the addition of 4 new efficient cores.
Furthermore, Intel’s Extreme Tuning Utility (XTU) now features the new AI Support feature. This opens the door to one-click AI-assisted overclocking for unlocked (overclocked) Intel Core 14th Gen desktop processors.
Once again, Intel has once again pushed the processor with everything they’ve got!

The star of the show was the Intel Core i9-14900K, which, as mentioned above, runs at 6 GHz out of the box. The 25 percent increase in core count over the relatively more affordable i7-14700K allows the chip to stand out from the crowd when multi-core performance is required.
Overall, thanks to the increased core count and higher frequencies, the 14th generation Intel processors offer an average 23 percent increase in gaming performance. Of course, new gaming-focused features such as Intel Application Optimization (APO) are also a big factor in this series.
Finally, Wi-Fi 6/6E and Bluetooth 5.3 support are standard with the 14th generation. It also supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 wireless technologies. In addition, it supports not only Thunderbolt 4 but also Thunderbolt 5 connectivity, offering up to 80 Gbps of bi-directional bandwidth.
