Minisforum has quietly expanded its lineup with a new Intel Core i9-12950HX mini-PC, dubbed the M1-1295. While it skips flashy features, it leans into performance and a clean, minimal design. Now, it’s already available globally.
Intel Core i9-12950HX mini-PC keeps it stripped back

Unlike Minisforum’s AMD-powered MS-S1 Max, the M1-1295 offers a more subdued package. The silver chassis is front-port free, sporting only a power button on its face. All functional I/,O including four USB ports and three display outputs, is moved to the back, streamlining the front profile.
Compact design, full-power specs
Cooling is handled by side perforations, a single turbofan, and a copper heat pipe, which together keep the 16-core, 24-thread Intel chip in check. The Intel Core i9-12950HX mini-PC doesn’t outperform AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395, but it does match the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 in most tasks.
What you get with the M1-1295
Here’s what Minisforum packed into this compact 1.12 kg machine:
- Intel Core i9-12950HX CPU
- 32 GB DDR4 RAM (expandable to 64 GB)
- 1 TB SSD
- 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet
- 4x USB ports
- 3x display outputs
- Dedicated mic, line-in, and line-out ports
It measures just 195 x 193 x 52 mm, making it an easy fit for tight workspaces.
Where to buy the Intel Core i9-12950HX mini-PC

Clean look, loud internals
The Intel Core i9-12950HX mini-PC doesn’t scream for attention, but under that muted shell sits real desktop-grade firepower. Quiet design, loud intent.
