Intel is officially zeroed out in the graphics card market. The company, which lost all its share to Nvidia and AMD, failed to achieve the success it wanted with the Arc series. According to the latest reports, it has less than 1 percent of users in the graphics card market.

According to the latest report from market analysis firm Jon Peddie Research (JPR), Intel is officially bankrupt in the graphics card market. The report on graphics card shipments for the second quarter of the year revealed that Intel no longer has any share in the market.
Intel had a small market share of 2 percent at the beginning of the year, but that had evaporated by mid-year. The market is now dominated by Nvidia with 88 percent and AMD with 12 percent. Although Intel is actively selling Arc models, it is struggling to find users.

JPR’s report also reveals that total graphics card shipments in the second quarter of the year increased by 9 percent compared to last year, reaching 9.5 million units. This was largely driven by increased demand for gaming and artificial intelligence.
While Intel hasn’t officially withdrawn from the graphics card market, it has zeroed out in terms of market share. The company will need to develop a new strategy for future models. Of course, it continues its presence in the integrated GPU market.
On the other hand, the company continues to provide updates to its graphics cards. With the new beta version for Intel Arc GPU graphics drivers, significant optimizations have been made to improve performance for some games and applications.
