Xiaomi SU7 and SU7 Max’s spacious cockpit revealed
According to the news in ShiftDelete.Net, the first images of the Xiaomi car to be equipped with HyperOS have leaked. Xiaomi, which has applied for a sales license in China, seems to have increased test driving tests for its first vehicle. The new photos revealed some important details about the cockpit design and hardware.
According to the photos, the central touchscreen will serve as the main hub for controlling vehicle functions and the infotainment system. It is noteworthy that the screen is located relatively higher than in classic SUVs.
Below the screen is a three-spoke steering wheel. Function buttons integrated into the steering wheel will support control of frequently used features such as audio, phone and driver assistance systems.
The photos also revealed that the SUV will have a spacious interior for five people. There will be a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor behind the windshield, while advanced driver assistance and automated driving capabilities are also expected.
The SU7 series will reportedly be available in rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive variants, with battery packs produced by BYD and CATL. Power output will range from 220kW to a maximum of 495kW, while 0-100km/h acceleration time will be under 4 seconds.
