Today, Apple seeded the final beta version of iOS 16.4 and iPadOS 16.4 updates to developers for testing the latest features and the new operating system update. While the company released the fourth betas last week, it now releases the release candidate versions, which are the final version of the software before the public release. Here are the details about the final beta versions, Release Candidate, of iOS 16.4 and iPadOS 16.4…
iOS 16.4 and iPadOS 16.4 RC version is now available to registered developers
The tech giant released the final beta version of the latest updates of iOS and iPadOS to registered developers. If you are a registered developer, you can download the iOS 16.4 and iPadOS 16.4 final beta updates over the air. Additionally, Apple announced, “Beginning with iOS & iPadOS 16.4 beta, members of the Apple Developer Program will see a new option to enable developer betas directly from Software Update in Settings.”
One of the most significant features of the new update is the Voice Isolation for cellular calls. The company released this feature on iOS 15 only for FaceTime calls and some third-party apps like WhatsApp. Now, the Voice Isolation feature is available for cellular calls with iOS 16.4 update.
Additionally, the new update brings new emoji characters, Safari Web Push notifications on iPhone and iPad, Home Screen support for third-party browsers, the HomeKit upgrade, changes to Podcasts, and more. Apple releases the Release Candidate (RC) versions before the final version of the updates. So, iOS 16.4 is expected to release likely on March 28 to everyone.
