Last year in September, Apple launched its latest smartphone series, the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, and 14 Pro models. It means that it’s been almost a year since the company introduced the iPhone 14 lineup. While we’re still interested in the 14 series, the rumors and expectations keep revealing about the upcoming Apple devices, the iPhone 15 series. Now, the possible launch date of the iPhone 15 leaked. Here are the details…
Apple will likely launch iPhone 15 on September 13
Although there are no official announcements about the expected phone series, the leaks by 9to5Mac reveal that Apple is planning to introduce the new iPhones in the second week of September. According to the rumors, some mobile carriers want their employees not to take days off on September 13 because of a significant smartphone announcement.
While there is nothing about the company, we can assume that Apple will announce its new iPhone 15 series because Apple usually launches the iPhone series in September. We can expect the tech giant to do the same and hold the Apple iPhone 15 event on September 13.
However, there might be a delay due to supply issues like what happened on iPhone 14 Plus. When we say that there won’t be any delay, we can expect Apple to announce the new iPhones on September 13, pre-orders to begin on Friday, September 15, and the official launch a week later on September 22.
What to expect from iPhone 15
Recent rumors about the iPhone 15 suggest that the Pro models will have slimmer bezels and a titanium frame, and the Pro Max model may be equipped with a periscope module for improved camera capabilities. On the other side, the standard iPhone 15 and 15 Plus are expected to feature Dynamic Island cutouts, but there might not be a 120Hz ProMotion display just yet. The iPhone 15 Pro is likely to cost $100 more than the previous model, starting at $1,099, while the 15 Pro Max might see a $200 price increase, starting at $1,299.
