With this in mind, all eyes turned to Apple, which has been using the Lightning port for many years. If the brand did not transition to the USB Type-C port, it would not be able to sell phones and tablets in Europe. Apple was obliged to comply with this decision in order not to lose a significant market. As a result, the iPhone 15 Plus model comes with a USB Type-C port. Of course, this was not very surprising as the leaks that have been circulating for a long time supported this expectation.
