The countdown has begun for Vivo’s upcoming X100 series, which is set to debut in the near future. Many technical specifications and design details have emerged regarding these smartphones. A recent report suggests that the series will offer performance and efficiency similar to the iPhone 15 Pro.
Vivo X100 will offer performance close to iPhone 15 Pro
Vivo’s new flagship smartphones in the X100 series are expected to be unveiled towards the end of this year, following the X90 family released earlier this year. The features of these upcoming phones were leaked by Digital Chat Station, known for its industry leaks. An analyst also recently made a claim that should delight users.
According to the claims, the Vivo X100 series will be powered by MediaTek’s most powerful processor to date, the Dimensity 9300. The processor will use TSMC’s N4P process and is expected to be introduced to users at an event in October.
The Taiwanese semiconductor company has abandoned efficiency cores in its new chip and instead opted for 4x Cortex-X4 and 4x Cortex-A720 high-performance cores. Despite concerns about heating, according to Digital Chat Station’s report, the chipset will offer performance and efficiency similar to the Apple A17 Pro found in the iPhone 15 Pro and may even compete with it.
Currently, there is no performance or comparison data available for the Dimensity 9300. Additionally, claims about heating made by figures like Evan Blass raise questions in people’s minds.
