Samsung is preparing to intensify the competition in the affordable flagship segment. The technology giant is preparing to add a new member to its A series in the mid-range segment. The first leaked images for the Galaxy A36 showed that the device will come in four color options: black, olive green, purple and white.
How will the Samsung Galaxy A36 look?
The Galaxy A36 is very similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy A35, in terms of design. The flat frame features a flat screen with a Key Island and a waterdrop notch for physical buttons on the right side. One of the most important features of the device will be the camera setup.
Unlike the single-camera systems of the iPhone SE 4 and Nothing Phone 3a, the Galaxy A36 will feature a vertically aligned triple camera system on the rear panel. The Galaxy A36 is expected to run on Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, 6GB of RAM and the One UI 7 interface.
Looking at the Galaxy A35’s launch date last year, it’s possible to say that the Galaxy A36 will be announced around March 2025. This means that the new model will compete with the iPhone SE 4 and Nothing Phone 3a, which are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
One of the most important factors in the Galaxy A36’s success will be its price. The iPhone SE 4 is expected to cost $500, while the Nothing Phone 3a is expected to cost between $350-400. Samsung will also target this price range for the mid-range segment.
