iQOO, which started its activities as a sub-brand of vivo in 2019 but now carries out independent work, came into the spotlight today with its new series. The iQOO 12 and 12 Pro series, which have been appearing with rumors for a while, were finally introduced today.
Looking at the technical specifications of the iQOO 12 series, the model features a 1.5K resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, 3000 nit peak brightness, and 2160 Hz PWM dimming on a 6.78-inch OLED screen. Additionally, it will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Furthermore, the standard model will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, along with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It will also feature a 5,000 mAh battery supporting 120W wired charging speeds.
The device will come with a triple-camera setup, including an OIS-supported 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50H primary sensor, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel OV64B telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. The price of the iQOO 12 model is set at $590.
The iQOO 12 Pro model will have a curved edge. Additionally, it will feature a 6.78-inch 2K Samsung E7 AMOLED display. The device’s panel offers a 144 Hz refresh rate, 2700 nit peak brightness, 1440 Hz PWM dimming, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
Similar to the standard model, the iQOO 12 Pro is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, LPDDR5x RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage. It also comes with a 5,100 mAh battery that supports 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The rear camera setup of the 12 Pro model includes an OIS-equipped 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50H primary camera. Additionally, both models offer up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of internal storage.
