iQOO has officially confirmed both the front and rear designs of its highly anticipated new flagship phone, the iQOO 15. The latest important information about the device, including its display and chipset details, was shared by iQOO Product Manager Galant V in a social media post. The iQOO 15 will push the boundaries with its photography capabilities. Here are the details.
iQOO 15’s new periscope telephoto camera confirmed
A new post by the Galant V on Weibo has confirmed a key feature of the iQOO 15’s camera setup. The device will feature a large-sensor periscope telephoto camera. The previous version of the model featured a 50-megapixel telephoto camera. The switch to periscope technology in the new model means that optical zoom capabilities will be significantly improved.

While the Galant V doesn’t elaborate on sensor details, recent reports suggest that the iQOO 15 will feature a triple 50-megapixel rear camera setup. This signals that the device will be a standout performer in both wide-angle and standard shooting, as well as zoom performance.
In addition to the camera, the iQOO 15’s hardware features are also truly flagship-worthy. The front of the device will feature a 6.85-inch Samsung AMOLED display. This display, offering 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, promises users a sharp and fluid visual experience.
At the heart of the iQOO 15 will be the latest and most powerful chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which has yet to be announced. This processor will be accompanied by up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.
A substantial 7,000mAh battery will be available for extended battery life. This battery can quickly recharge with 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. Befitting its gaming-focused identity, iQOO has integrated a number of additional features into the device.
The Q3 gaming chip will optimize mobile gaming performance. It will also feature a new x-axis linear motor for more precise vibration feedback and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for fast, secure unlocking. Satellite connectivity is also expected to be available.
The iQOO 15 will be officially unveiled in China in October, alongside the iQOO Neo 11, which will also feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The device is expected to launch in the Indian market soon after its Chinese launch.
