The iQoo 15 is shaping up to be one of the boldest Android flagships of 2025. Leaks suggest it will feature a Samsung OLED display strong enough to match the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Some reports even claim Samsung could use the same panel for its upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra.
iQoo 15 may feature a class-leading Samsung OLED

Unlike many rivals that rely on BOE panels, the iQoo 15 is expected to adopt a Samsung-made OLED. Insiders say it will be comparable to Apple’s 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR display, which reaches 3,000 nits and supports PWM dimming.
The iQoo’s panel may also beat Apple’s unusual 1320 × 2868 resolution with a sharper 2K (~1440p) option. Another rumor points to an anti-reflective coating, which would improve visibility under harsh light.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra may share the same display
Leaks suggest Samsung will use the same OLED for its Galaxy S26 Ultra, putting iQoo in rare company. But this upgrade could come at a cost. Analysts expect the panel to raise the bill of materials by 300–400 yuan (~$42–56) per unit.
Its charging and battery upgrades keep pace
The iQoo 15 should maintain 100W wired charging, a hallmark of the series. Battery capacity may rise to 7,000 mAh, one of the largest in any mainstream flagship. That boost could offset the higher price with far better endurance.
iQoo 15 October 2025 launch against tough rivals
The iQoo 15 is tipped for an October 2025 release, going head-to-head with the OnePlus 15, Realme GT 8 Pro, and Honor Magic8.
With a Samsung OLED rivaling Apple’s best, a massive battery, and ultra-fast charging, the iQoo 15 is shaping up as a serious contender even if it costs more than fans expect.
