The iQOO Neo7 lineup is now expanding with a new Android smartphone, iQOO Neo7. The company already launched iQOO Neo7 SE in early December last year. Today, iQOO launched a new mid-range, relatively gaming phone, Neo7, in India. iQOO Neo7 comes with Dimensity 8200
Although the new smartphone is not announced as a gaming phone, we can assume that it will be a good competitor in the gaming phone market with its specifications. The handset gets its power from the MediaTek Dimensity 8200, a 4nm chipset, and it supports 5G technology. While the Neo7 comes with Mali-G610 CPU, it also features 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and runs the Android 13-based FuntouchOS 13 out of the box.
The brand also brings a first to India. The iQOO Neo7 is the first phone with Dimensity 8200 in India. The device comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate support. Additionally, it allows you to choose the 60Hz, 90Hz options, and 30Hz for the Always On Display. The phone manufacturer keeps the quality by adding a large vapor chamber and multiple layers of graphite sheets.
One of the most distinctive features is the Motion Controls in Ultra Game Mode. The new feature leverage the gyroscope and accelerometer and lets you customize the actions to six different motions: left-hand lifting, right-hand lifting, left-leaning, right-leaning, horizontal forward pressing, and horizontal backward pressing.
While the iQOO Neo7 features a 5,000mAh battery with an upgraded FlashCharge system and support for 120W, it can be charged 1-50% in 10 minutes, and a full 1-100% in 25 minutes. The new device comes with an ISOCELL GW3, 64-megapixel sensor. The Neo7 is available in Black or Frost Blue colors. The phone has a Rs 29,999 ($360) price tag for the 8GB RAM+ 128GB storage version and Rs 39,999 ($410) for the 12GB + 256GB variant in India.
