As a sub-brand of Vivo, iQOO continues to expand its Android smartphone lineup, aiming to reach a broader audience with increased variety. Today, iQOO announced two new devices: the iQOO Z9s and Z9s Pro. Positioned in the mid-range segment, these devices come with competitive features and AI capabilities. iQOO Z9s and Z9s Pro come with different processors
Although both models share many of the same features, one major difference between them lies in their processors. The iQOO Z9s is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, while the Z9s Pro is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. Both devices offer up to 12GB of RAM and storage options up to 256GB.
The Z9s series features the same display, with both models offering a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Pro model’s screen can reach a peak brightness of 4500 nits, while the Z9s offers a maximum brightness of 1800 nits.
The upcoming iQOO 13, developed by iQOO and set to be introduced as a flagship model, has had its screen and battery features leaked.
Both the iQOO Z9s and Z9s Pro have a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor. The Z9s Pro comes with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle secondary camera, while the Z9s is equipped with a 2MP portrait camera. Both devices include AI features like AI Eraser and AI Photo Editor for enhanced photo experiences.
Running on Android 14 with Funtouch OS 14, the iQOO Z9s series will receive two years of Android updates and three years of security updates.
