TCL introduced its next-generation NXTPAPER technology at CES 2025. The NXTPAPER 11 Plus tablet, equipped with this innovative screen technology, promises enhanced visual quality and eye-focused features. The NXTPAPER 4.0 screen at its core utilizes a new ‘nano-matrix lithography’ technology to boost clarity and sharpness. Here are the details…
NXTPAPER comes with AI support for eye health
The NXTPAPER 11 boasts impressive color accuracy, reaching a Delta-E value of just 1, providing color output so precise that it’s imperceptible to the human eye. TCL’s NXTPAPER technology, developed since 2021, also aims to reduce eye strain. With the NXTPAPER 11 Plus, this effort is supported by artificial intelligence.
The tablet’s AI-powered smart eye comfort mode automatically adjusts screen output based on usage scenarios. New “Personalized Eye Comfort Modes” allow users to customize settings according to their preferences.
NXTPAPER 11 Plus stands out not only for its screen technology but also for its smart software features. With Google’s Circle to Search feature, it enhances search functionality, while its Smart Voice Memo function transcribes and summarizes voice recordings. Its Smart Translator feature translates languages in text, images, and audio, and its AI Subtitle support enables real-time dialogue translation.
NXTPAPER technology combines the speed and resolution of LCDs with an E-Ink-like visual experience, placing TCL at a unique position in display technology. However, the price and release date of the NXTPAPER 11 Plus have not yet been disclosed. Aimed at competing with similar products from Huawei, its impact on users remains to be seen in the coming months.
