There have been leaks for a while suggesting that Infinix has been working on its first inward-folding phone. After the recent leaks of the first promotional posters, more concrete information has emerged, and thanks to a new leak, even more details have become clear. Information about the design and features of the Infinix Zero Flip has been leaked. However, it seems that the Zero Flip will be thicker than expected…
Infinix Zero Flip Will Be Thicker Than the Z Flip 6
Although the official launch date has not yet been announced, it is expected that Infinix’s first inward-folding phone will be introduced in the coming weeks. With the new leaks, the dimensions of the Infinix Zero Flip have been revealed, and unfortunately, the device will not be as thin as anticipated.
The phone will be thicker than both the Z Fold 6 and the Z Flip 6, with a thickness of 7.64mm when open and 16.04mm when folded. The device is about 4mm thicker than the Z Fold 6 and around 1mm thicker than the Z Flip 6, and it is expected to be launched globally.
The leaked display features also reveal that the device will come with a 3.6-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1056 x 1066 pixels for the outer screen. As for the inner screen, it will feature a 6.9-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2640 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate.
On the positive side, the phone’s thickness will allow for a larger battery. It will have a 4720mAh battery, be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 processor, and come with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Additionally, the phone will run on the Android-based XOS 14.5 operating system and will feature two 50-megapixel rear cameras and a 50-megapixel front camera.
