vivo has officially announced the battery capacity of the device by sharing a new promotional poster for the X Fold 5 model. Accordingly, the X Fold 5 comes with a powerful battery of exactly 6,000 mAh. This is the largest battery ever seen among foldable phones.

Vivo Product President Huang Tao claims that the vivo X Fold 5 will break the record of the 219-gram Vivo X Fold 3 as the world’s lightest foldable phone. Reports indicate that it will weigh approximately 209 grams. It will also be one of the thinnest foldable phones, according to reports, with a thickness of 4.3 mm and 9.3 mm when unfolded and folded, respectively.
The X Fold 5’s inner screen will be 8.03 inches, while the cover screen will be 6.53 inches. Both screens use 8T LTPO panels and support high-frequency PWM dimming at full brightness. The device will also host IPX9 water resistance and IPX5 dust resistance certifications.
The X Fold 5 is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and come with a 6,000mAh battery. On the charging side, 90W wired and 30W wireless charging support will be offered. On the back, there will be a triple camera setup, including a 50 MP Sony IMX921 main camera with OIS support, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50 MP IMX882 periscope telephoto lens with 3x zoom.
