Samsung July 2024 Update Fixes 58 Security Vulnerabilities
The regularly released security updates for July 2024 have arrived, fixing 25 vulnerabilities found in Android. Additionally, the security update also addresses 33 vulnerabilities specific to Galaxy phones and tablets, and it has now been rolled out for entry-level devices as well.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 (2020), which has received two operating system updates and was slated to receive security updates for four years since its launch (up until September), might be getting its final update with the July 2024 update, version T500XXS8CXG1.
The Galaxy M04, another entry-level device, has received the update with version M045FXXS8EXF2 for model SM-M045F, which has so far only been released in India. Although this device won’t receive further OS updates, it will continue to receive security updates.
The Galaxy A03 is another device that has received the update. With the software version A035FXXS7CXF3 for model number SM-A035F, this security update is one of the two updates it receives annually. If your device hasn’t received the update yet, it should be available soon, as rollout timing can vary by country.
