As they do every month, Samsung is rolling out security updates. As the end of the month approaches, the company continues to release updates for devices that have yet to receive them. Now, the July 2024 update has been released for the latest flagship tablet series, Galaxy Tab S9 and Tab S9 Ultra, as well as for the Galaxy S22. Here are the details…
July 2024 Security Update for Galaxy Tab S9 and Galaxy S22 Released
The security update, which continues to be rolled out to more devices each day, fixes 25 vulnerabilities found in Android. Additionally, the Galaxy July 2024 update specifically addresses 33 vulnerabilities unique to Galaxy phones and tablets, making a total of 58 fixes. Four of these vulnerabilities are critical, so it is recommended that users who receive the update apply it immediately.
Samsung’s latest flagship tablet models, the Galaxy Tab S9 and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, are receiving the July 2024 update before the One UI 6.1.1 update. The update released for Europe comes with software version X716BXXS4BXG7 for the Tab S9 and X916BXXS4BXG7 for the Tab S9 Ultra. Although it has not yet been released for the Tab S9+, it is expected to come with software version X816BXXS4BXG7.
The update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra, released for Latin American countries, comes with software version S90xEXXSAEXF9. If your devices have not received the update yet, it may be due to regional differences, and it is possible that the update will be released in Turkey soon.
