Lada announces its new SUV model Azimut
Lada Azimut stands out with its high shoulder line, short front and rear overhangs, 18-inch alloy wheels and LED lighting in its exterior design. The brand’s characteristic X-Design lines continue in this model. Sharp body lines and plastic coatings emphasize both the aesthetic and functional aspects of the design.

While a spacious living area is offered in the interior, the digital instrument panel and 10-inch HD screen multimedia system attract attention. The vehicle also includes a virtual assistant system developed by Russian technology company Sber.
Thanks to this system, drivers can control navigation, media, air conditioning and driving modes with voice or touch commands. With Sber ID integration, online services and payment systems can be accessed from inside the vehicle.
Among the engine options, there are two gasoline units, 1.6-liter 120 horsepower and 1.8-liter 132 horsepower. These engines are offered with a CVT or a 6-speed manual transmission. Lada plans to add a 150 horsepower turbo gasoline engine and automatic transmission combination in the future.

Azimut will initially be produced only with front-wheel drive. However, an all-wheel drive version is on the agenda to be added to the production line in the future. The ground clearance of the vehicle was announced as 208 mm. This value indicates that Azimut can also be used in light off-road conditions.
Serial production is planned to start in 2026. The model, which will be offered for sale only in the Russian market at the first stage, is expected to be priced between 2.5 and 3 million rubles. This price range varies between approximately 31,900 and 38,300 dollars at the current exchange rate.
