Lenovo’s new Legion Go power bank adds a built-in kickstand and 65W charging to the Legion Go S solving its most obvious hardware flaw.

The Legion Go S is a solid gaming handheld, but it shipped with one clear omission: no kickstand. Lenovo just fixed that, and then some, with its latest accessory.

Lenovo’s newly launched Legion Go 65W 12800mAh Power Bank isn’t just a charger; it doubles as a kickstand. Designed specifically for the Legion Go lineup, including the Go S and the newer Legion Go 2, this magnetic add-on solves one of the biggest gripes early adopters had with the more affordable Go S.

The Go and Go 2 already feature built-in stands, but this power bank lets users of all three models prop up the device without relying on cases or third-party accessories.

While a battery pack is nothing new, the integrated kickstand adds unexpected value. It folds out from the rear of the power bank, letting users place the handheld upright on a desk or table. It’s especially helpful for Go S owners who don’t want to shell out extra cash for a case just to stand the device upright.

Even for Legion Go and Go 2 users, this setup works without requiring the built-in stand to be opened, ideal for casual desktop sessions or watching media.

    • Capacity: 12,800mAh
    • Charging Output: Up to 65W
    • Charging Input: Max 45W
    • Connection: USB-C via integrated cable
    • Attachment: Magnetic mount with included iron plate
    • Extras: Kickstand, LED battery indicators, safety protections
    • Weight: 400g

Keep in mind, attaching the bank does add heft. With the Legion Go S already weighing 740g, the combo pushes you into tablet territory. Still, it’s easy enough to set down when docked or tabletop gaming.

Instead of redesigning the hardware, Lenovo patched the Go S’s biggest missing feature with an accessory that multitasks. It’s not flashy, but it’s smart and it might just become essential gear for Legion Go users who prefer flexibility without the bulk of a full case.
