LG’s next-gen QNED TVs are already making waves ahead of their official debut. Spotted in South Korean certification databases, the LG QNED85B and QNED86B appear ready to succeed their 2025 counterparts with some design updates and likely AI-powered upgrades.
LG QNED TVs show up in certification listings

Both new models, the QNED85B and QNED86B, were recently listed in the Safety Korea and Korea Testing Laboratory databases. The QNED85B showed up in an 86-inch version with two model numbers: LG 86QNED85BMA and 86QNED85BKA. Meanwhile, the QNED86B appears more varied, with 75-, 86-, and 100-inch versions all confirmed by filings.
Model breakdown for the QNED86B includes:
- 75QNED86BMA / 75QNED86BKA
- 86QNED86BMA / 86QNED86BKA
- 100QNED86BMA / 100QNED86BKA
Photos attached to the filings reveal some physical changes too. The QNED85B sits on two slim feet, while the QNED86B switches to a central stand likely for better stability at larger sizes.
What might change in the 2026 LG QNED TVs
LG hasn’t released any full specs yet, but if the 2025 models are any clue, the new ones will likely keep the 4K Mini-LED panel, 120Hz refresh rate (with VRR support up to 144Hz), and Alpha 8 AI Processor Gen2. Expect support for HDR10, Filmmaker Mode, and AMD FreeSync as well.
Still, the physical tweaks suggest LG may be refining more than just internals. These minor adjustments could point to better thermal performance or new component layouts.
When will LG QNED TVs go on sale?
That part’s still a mystery. No official launch date has been confirmed for the 2026 LG QNED TVs, but more info should arrive soon. LG typically unveils its high-end sets in early Q1, so CES 2026 looks like a strong candidate for the full reveal.
Design tweaks, subtle signals, and a quiet stir
So far, LG’s quiet certification filings hint at more than just a yearly refresh. While details are scarce, these QNED TVs seem poised to evolve in both form and function. And when the brand finally pulls back the curtain, all eyes will be on what’s changed and what hasn’t.
