Luxury coupe using HarmonyOS unveiled!
After facing Android restrictions, Huawei turned to its own operating system, HarmonyOS. The company has already started releasing its smartphones and tablets with the HarmonyOS operating system and recently introduced HarmonyOS 4. Now, Huawei has revealed its first car running on the HarmonyOS operating system.
Huawei introduces sports car running on its own operating system
Richard Yu, the Huawei executive, shared the first hints about the fully electric car model from the company’s Zhixuan automotive division. This vehicle, powered by HarmonyOS 4, marks an important milestone not only for Huawei but also for the automotive industry.
The executive promises that the design of the new car will break new ground and offer an imaginative experience. He also mentioned that the production model will be unveiled at the end of this quarter. The car’s front carries the name ‘LUXEED,’ which is believed to represent a new brand within Huawei.

Experts believe that the Luxeed brand might be a result of collaboration between Huawei and another Chinese car manufacturer, Chery. Some claims suggest that the name combines “Luxury” and “Exceed,” symbolizing Chery’s sub-brand, Exceed.
Huawei has been involved in the automotive sector for quite some time. Previously, the company partnered with Chinese automakers JAC and BAIC’s Arcfox brand. Now, it seems that with this sports car, likely a result of the partnership with Chery, Huawei aims to establish its position in the automotive world.
