Apple will allegedly announce new MacBook Air models with M4 processors in March at the latest. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman suggested that Apple is working on new 13 and 15-inch MacBook Air models and that these devices will be introduced in the coming weeks. First of all, if we talk about its features, the new MacBook Air will offer significant improvements in performance and efficiency with the M4 chip. However, although major design changes are not expected, a thinner and lighter structure may be possible. As for the battery and display, we can expect improved energy efficiency and possibly a display with a higher refresh rate.

Apple released the last MacBook Air with the M3 processor in March 2024. Therefore, it is quite likely that the M4 model will arrive around the same time. In December 2024, it was revealed that Apple accidentally added the name of the M4 MacBook Air to the system files during the macOS Sequoia 15.2 update. So, we can say that the new model is actually already ready.

Apple is expected to unveil the new MacBook Air in March and make it available in a few weeks. Based on Gurman’s previous reports, we can say that Apple has reduced the stock of the current M3 MacBook Air, so the new model will arrive in March.
