Honor is preparing to solidify its position in the high-end tablet market. The company has officially confirmed that its new flagship tablet, the MagicPad 3 Pro, will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest and most powerful processor, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. This powerful tablet is scheduled to be unveiled in China in October alongside the Magic 8 series phones. Here are the details.
The Honor MagicPad 3 Pro will be quite powerful
The MagicPad 3 Pro is positioned as a much more capable alternative to the MagicPad 3, which launched in July and received acclaim for its performance but exhibited some limitations in sustained workloads.

Qualcomm states that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform brings significant improvements over the previous generation. These improvements include a 20 percent faster CPU, 23 percent higher GPU performance, and a 37 percent faster NPU (Artificial Intelligence Processing Unit).
The first images released confirm that the MagicPad 3 Pro’s design will be identical to the standard model. The square-shaped camera island houses two lenses, a flash, and the brand logo. The device will likely retain its predecessor’s aluminum construction, along with its flat, sleek overall design.
The MagicPad 3 featured a 13.3-inch display, considered relatively large for a tablet, and the new Pro model is expected to retain this size. The standard version featured a 3.2K (3200 x 2136 pixel) LCD panel and a refresh rate of up to 165Hz. Similar display features are likely to be included in the Pro model.
The MagicPad 3 Pro’s price has not yet been officially announced. However, considering the standard MagicPad 3 model started at around $599, the Pro model’s higher-end hardware is expected to cost around $800.
