Marvel’s Spider-Man is now free with PS Plus!

Sony announced on the official PlayStation blog the new games that PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe subscribers will be able to add to their libraries in August. The most notable games this month include Mortal Kombat 1, one of last year’s biggest fighting games, and Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, the remake of PlayStation’s iconic superhero adventure.

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium – August Games

The full list, available to all Extra and Premium/Deluxe tier subscribers starting August 19th, is as follows:

• Mortal Kombat 1
• Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered
• Sword of the Sea
• Earth Defense Force 6
• Unicorn Overlord
• Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key
• Indika
• Harold Halibut
• Coral Island

Premium Classics: Resident Evil Nostalgia

This month, two legendary games, bringing a breath of fear and nostalgia, are being added to the Classics Catalog for PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe subscribers.

• Resident Evil 2 (Original PlayStation version)
• Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (Original PlayStation version)

This strong slate will make August a very exciting month for PlayStation gamers. We’ll see what PlayStation’s September games will be like. We’ll have to wait and see.
