According to leaked information, the processor will be developed based on TSMC’s 3nm manufacturing process (N3P) and will utilize ARM’s next-generation cores. The Dimensity 9500, which aims to deliver impressive performance, will feature a CPU design consisting entirely of large cores.
MediaTek Dimensity 9500 specifications revealed
Leaks suggest that the Dimensity 9500 will adopt a 1+3+4 core configuration, including 1 Travis core, 3 Alto cores, and 4 Gelas cores. It is reported that the Travis and Alto cores belong to ARM’s upcoming Cortex-X9 series, ensuring high-end performance.

The Gelas cores are identified as part of ARM’s next-generation Cortex-A7 series. On the graphics side, the Immortalis Drage GPU will be used. According to reports, the Dimensity 9500 achieves an impressive 3.5 million AnTuTu score, marking a significant increase compared to its predecessor, the Dimensity 9400’s 2.8 million score.
Initially expected to feature a 2+6 core structure, the design has now shifted to the 1+3+4 configuration.
MediaTek plans to launch its next-generation processor in mid-2025. This timing could give MediaTek an advantage, as Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is expected to debut in October 2025. With its performance-focused design, the Dimensity 9500 aims to create strong competition in the flagship segment.
