MediaTek has unveiled its new mobile processor, the Helio G200, developed for smartphones and tablets with 4G connectivity. The G200, which has a hardware structure similar to the Helio G100 model introduced last year, draws attention with the improvements it offers especially in camera and connection technologies.
MediaTek Helio G200 introduced
The Helio G200 was developed with TSMC’s 6-nanometer production process. The processor has two Cortex-A76 cores at 2.2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz. The graphics unit also includes a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU operating at 1.1 GHz.

Offering 4266 Mbps LPDDR4X RAM support on the memory side, the G200 maintains the UFS 2.2 standard in storage. A maximum resolution of 2520×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz are offered as screen support.
The new processor prioritizes camera features. The Helio G200 supports a single 200-megapixel camera or dual 16-megapixel sensors. In addition, 12-bit DCG (dual conversion gain) support, which is not available in the Helio G100 model, provides an improvement in HDR video quality.
MediaTek states that power consumption has decreased by 20% with the optimizations made in camera applications. Another innovation introduced with the Helio G200 was in the field of connectivity. 4G DC SAR technology, which improves connection quality in weak signal conditions, ensures more stable operation of social media and messaging applications.
MediaTek has not yet shared any information about the release date of the devices powered by the Helio G200. So what do you think about this? You can share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
