Meizu 21 Note will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

The Chinese phone manufacturer seems to have lowered the specifications for the Note version. While the Meizu 21 and 21 Pro models use Qualcomm’s latest mobile processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Meizu opted for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 introduced in November 2022 for the Meizu 21 Note.

Equipped with 4nm manufacturing technology, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 features an 8-core processor, including 1 Arm Cortex-X3 core (3.2 GHz), 4 performance-focused cores (2.8 GHz), and 3 efficiency-focused cores (2.0GHz). This processor will be accompanied by 16GB of memory and a 5,500 mAh battery.

The new device, resembling Samsung in design, comes with a 6.8-inch 1.5K resolution display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Running on Meizu 21 Note, based on Android 14-based Flyme AIOS, features a dual camera on the back and an RGB-enabled flash.

As indicated in the official promotional posters shared by the company, the new phone will be unveiled in China on May 16. It is not expected to arrive in Turkey, with more details expected to emerge in the coming days.
