The new virtual reality headset Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition, developed in collaboration with Microsoft and Meta, has emerged through leaks. The model, which is the first VR device to carry the Xbox brand, has a special design that includes Xbox’s characteristic colors and icons.
Xbox-themed virtual reality headset revealed
The device’s box features both Meta Quest and Xbox logos. The Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition comes with a 128 GB storage capacity headset. The package also includes an Xbox wireless controller and a three-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription.
The device, which is expected to be sold for $ 399 in the US market, offers access to the Game Pass library via Xbox Cloud Gaming right out of the box. Thanks to this, users can access hundreds of Xbox games, including VR.
Previously, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that this version works with a direct Game Pass connection and does not require a special installation process. The Quest 3S uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor and comes with 8 GB of RAM.
The device, which offers a resolution of 1832 x 1920 pixels for each eye, provides approximately 2.5 hours of usage time. There are two RGB cameras on the imaging side, and these cameras enable stereoscopic color transitions.
