While the electric vehicle craze continues at full speed, the race in Europe and the United Kingdom in particular is also accelerating. The new MGS5, which has been developed by MG for a long time but does not have much innovation, is entering the market as an electric SUV. The vehicle, which will go on sale in April, has already been introduced. Here are the MG MGS5 features and design.
MG MGS5 will be on sale for less than 34,500 Euros
MGGS5, introduced by MG and planned to compete with vehicles such as Skoda Elroq and Kia EV3, seems to be making its debut with a good price policy compared to its competitors. According to the statements, the vehicle, which will have a starting price of 33,876 Euros, is planned to replace the MG4 Hatchback model.

Using the MG4’s Modular Scalable Platform, MGS5 is offered in three options: SE Standard Range, SE Long Range, and Trophy Long Range. The SE Standard model comes with a price tag of 33,876 Euros, while the Long Range versions come with a price tag of 36,848 Euros and 39,820 Euros, respectively. The top package, Trophy, includes heated seats, leather upholstery, and a 360-degree camera.
When we look at the power of the vehicle, all versions are equipped with a rear-wheel drive 228 horsepower engine. Offered with two battery options, the MGS5 debuted with versions offering a 49kWh range of 340 km and a 64kWh range of 480 km. The 64kWh version can reach 80 percent from 10 percent in just 28 minutes with a 139 kW DC charge.
The new SUV, inspired by the MG Cyberster model in terms of design, provides a modern look. With a length of 4.47 meters, it offers a very large living space, while there is a 453-liter trunk. Inside, in addition to the renewed design, the 12.8-inch entertainment system is also located on the front panel. The vehicle is expected to go on sale in Europe and the UK in the coming months.
