Details of the new premium sedan model MG7, which MG, the most preferred automobile brand among Chinese brands in Europe, will offer for sale in Turkey, have been announced. Represented by Doğan Trend Otomotiv in Turkey, MG is preparing to launch its new automobile in the premium sedan class, MG7, on Turkish roads in the second quarter of this year.
The new MG7, which will create strong competition in its segment, will enter the Turkish automobile market with its remarkable performance, stylish “Fastback” design, spacious interior and advanced technology equipment.
The new MG7 carries sporty lines inspired by MG’s racing heritage in terms of design. The dimensions of the automobile, which is 4.9 meters long in total, were announced as 4884 mm long, 1889 mm wide and 1447 mm high.
The wheelbase of the vehicle was determined as 2778 mm. Thanks to this wide wheelbase, the cabin of the MG7 offers a very spacious living space. Details such as the electrically opening panoramic glass roof, active spoiler, Hunter LED headlights, red brake calipers and frameless doors reinforce the sporty and premium feel of the MG7. The vehicle also features 19-inch alloy wheels as standard.
The cabin of the new MG7 showcases the combination of luxury and technology. The front seats of the car can be adjusted electrically and come with a heating function. In addition, the memory feature in the driver’s seat and side mirrors increases comfort.
The MG7 offers features such as a 360-degree view camera that makes parking easier for the driver, a 9-speaker BOSE premium sound system that provides a high-level sound experience and a panoramic glass roof as standard.
The interior of the MG7 features an innovative system called UniScreen technology, which combines the digital instrument panel and infotainment screen in a single piece. In addition, the ambient lighting system in the vehicle’s cabin increases the feeling of comfort and spaciousness.
The MG7 will be available for sale in Turkey with only one engine option. The 1.5-liter turbo gasoline engine used in the car produces 170 PS and 275 Nm of torque. This engine transfers its power to the wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The time to reach 100 km/h from 0 is 9.5 seconds.
The car’s fuel consumption value was determined as 7 lt/100 km on average. The active spoiler in the MG7 not only provides a visual contribution, but also contributes positively to driving dynamics by increasing the car’s aerodynamic performance at high speeds.
Advanced driving assistance systems are also among the standard equipment of the new MG7. Thanks to these systems, the MG7 keeps safety at a high level and offers driving modes that can be adjusted according to the driver’s needs in different road conditions.
