Countdown has officially begun for the newest member of the Asus ROG Phone family, one of the first names that come to mind when it comes to mobile gaming. So far, there haven’t been many leaks about the device, leaving a lot of question marks about its performance. However, this situation has now changed as the Asus ROG Phone 8 Ultimate recently appeared in a performance test.

The Asus ROG Phone 8 Ultimate surfaced in the Geekbench database with the model number ASUS_AI2401_D. The smartphone achieved a score of 2,235 in single-core tests and 7,098 in multi-core tests. This indirectly confirms some technical specifications of the device.
The phone will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Qualcomm continues its collaboration with TSMC for the new processor, which is manufactured using 4nm technology. The processor includes 1 Cortex-X4 core at 3.3 GHz, 3 Cortex-A720 cores at 3.2 GHz, 2 Cortex-A720 cores at 3.0 GHz, and 2 Cortex-A520 cores at 2.3 GHz. The new chip also includes the Adreno 750 graphics unit with Ray Tracing support.
Looking at the Geekbench listing, the device is equipped with 24 GB of RAM. Additionally, it will run on Android 14 straight out of the box. For now, these are the limited details available about the device. There is no clear information about the launch date, but considering the Geekbench development, it can be assumed that users won’t have to wait too long for the official announcement.
