A major announcement was made at Gamescom that will delight fighting game enthusiasts. The full list of games included in the long-awaited Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection has been revealed. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developer Digital Eclipse have revealed a nostalgic bundle for fans of the series.
The Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection is here
According to the announced list, the collection includes classic arcade games such as Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat II, and Mortal Kombat 3, dating back to 1992, as well as notable PlayStation-era titles like Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero and Mortal Kombat Special Forces.
One of the biggest surprises of the bundle is the inclusion of the WaveNet version of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 for the first time. Developed exclusively for arcade machines to support Midway’s online matchmaking service, this unique version was the only arcade version to feature Noob Saibot as a selectable character. This special edition, emulated by Digital Eclipse, has been unplayable elsewhere since 1997.
The collection also offers features that modernize the old game experience. Players can use the new rewind feature for more forgiving gameplay. It also features on-screen move lists and a tutorial mode for developing combos. A key innovation is a dedicated tutorial mode to help master Fatalities.
The full list of games included in the Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection is as follows:
- Mortal Kombat (1992)
- Mortal Kombat II (1993)
- Mortal Kombat 3 (1995)
- Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (1995)
- Mortal Kombat Trilogy (1996)

- Mortal Kombat Special Forces (2000)
- Mortal Kombat Advance (2001)
