Motorola is preparing to launch the Edge 2025 model, and reliable industry sources have revealed key design elements and some technical specifications of the upcoming smartphone.
What will the Motorola Edge 2025 look like, and what will it offer?
The front design of the Motorola Edge 2025 appears largely unchanged from last year’s model. It features a curved display and a centrally aligned punch-hole front camera. On the right side, you’ll find the power and volume buttons, while the left side houses the “Quick Button,” which was introduced last year. This customizable button allows users to quickly launch specific apps or features, such as an email app or webcam mode.

On the back, however, a major change stands out. Unlike its predecessor, the Edge 2025 comes with a triple rear camera setup. This upgrade results in a larger camera module and a redesigned LED flash. The back panel is covered with a leather-like material and is offered in a Pantone-style green color. It’s currently unclear whether other color options will be available.
Although the full spec sheet hasn’t been officially confirmed, the Edge 2025 is expected to feature a high refresh rate OLED display, an under-display fingerprint scanner, IP68 dust and water resistance, a 5,000 mAh battery, 68W wired charging, and 15W wireless charging. It is also expected to ship with Android 15 out of the box.
The previous model, Edge 2024, came with a 6.6-inch 144Hz pOLED display (2400×1080 resolution), Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, 8 GB of RAM, and 256 GB of storage. It featured a 50 MP Sony LYT-700C main camera with OIS, a 13 MP ultra-wide and macro camera, and a 32 MP front camera. Additional features included stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and 5G support.
While an official launch date hasn’t been announced, the Edge 2024 was unveiled in June last year, suggesting that the Edge 2025 could be released very soon.
