Motorola has launched a veritable “announcement deluge” in the smartphone market. After introducing the Edge 70, the global version of the X70 Air, at the end of October, the company is now raising the bar with more advanced models in the series.
Motorola X70 Air Pro (Edge 70 Pro): More “Pro” and Smarter
Following the ultra-thin Edge 70, Motorola has shared the first official hints for the X70 Air Pro model. Designed with the slogans “More Pro” and “More AI,” the device aims to combine design aesthetics with performance.

- 90W Fast Charging: The device, spotted in China’s 3C database (with model number XT2603-1), comes with 90W fast charging support. This represents a significant upgrade over the 68W charging found in the standard Edge 70.
- Snapdragon 7+ Gen 5 Rumor: Industry sources and Geekbench records from November suggest the phone will be built on Qualcomm’s yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 7+ Gen 5 chipset.
Motorola’s real surprise, however, is a new series leaked via Flipkart, dubbed “Signature Class.” Some sources suggest this device could be a rebranded version of the previously leaked Edge 70 Ultra.
Leaked and Estimated Specifications:
- Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5
- Memory & Software: 16GB RAM and Android 16 out of the box.
- Display: 6.7-inch 1.5K resolution OLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate.
- Camera: Triple 50MP rear camera setup with a periscope telephoto lens. Surprise Feature: Some reports claim the device may come with a built-in stylus, making it a direct competitor to the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
The phrase “Come back on December 28, 2025” in the promotional image on Flipkart suggests a major announcement or pre-orders for the Motorola Signature will begin this Sunday. Whether Motorola will highlight the slimness of the “Air” series or the flagship power of the “Signature” series remains to be seen.
