Popular YouTube star Jimmy Donaldson, known as Mr. Beast, is preparing to launch his own phone company. A new leak has revealed details of the project. According to the plan, Mr. Beast’s company could launch within the next year. A source close to the company also said that the project is real but not currently among his priorities.

The venture will reportedly operate under the name Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO). MVNOs are defined as companies that do not own their own physical network infrastructure but instead offer network access leased from major carriers like T-Mobile or Verizon to customers under their own brand.
Mr. Beast is not the first celebrity to enter this space. Mint Mobile, previously co-owned by Ryan Reynolds, was sold to T-Mobile for $1.35 billion in 2023. Former President Donald Trump also entered the mobile market with his T1 Mobile service. Trump’s $47.45 monthly plan included unlimited talk, text, and internet, along with bonuses like roadside assistance and telehealth services.
Jimmy Donaldson’s brand has become a force beyond YouTube. Donaldson has proven this success with ventures like his chocolate brand Feastables, which generated $251 million in sales and more than $20 million in profit last year.
He also partnered with Amazon MGM Studios for Beast Games, a show airing on Amazon Prime Video that offers a grand prize of $5 million.
