MSI, a leading brand in the gaming equipment market, has introduced its new MAG 272QP QD-OLED X24 monitor. Following BenQ, which recently attracted attention with its 500Hz refresh rate OLED monitors, this model is being offered for sale in the Chinese market with a price tag of approximately $420.
MSI Launches New QD-OLED Monitor
The monitor features a 26.5-inch QD-OLED panel. Offering 2K resolution, the display has a refresh rate of 240Hz. Utilizing Samsung Display’s next-generation QD-OLED panel, the model combines self-emitting OLED pixels with quantum dot technology, providing both more accurate colors and a wider color gamut.

According to MSI, the panel achieves 99% DCI-P3, 98% Adobe RGB, and 138% sRGB color coverage. Supporting 10-bit color depth, the display can display 1.07 billion colors. Each unit is factory-calibrated to achieve ΔE ≤ 2 color accuracy.
Designed with fast-paced games in mind, the monitor stands out with its 0.03 ms GtG response time. It also boasts VESA ClearMR 13000 motion clarity certification.
Adaptive Sync technology prevents screen tearing and stuttering. Brightness is set at 200 nits for SDR and 400 nits for HDR. The monitor’s dynamic contrast ratio is an impressive 1,500,000:1.
MSI offers the OLED Care 2.0 package to address the risk of burn-in, one of the biggest issues with OLED panels. This package includes protective features such as pixel shifting, pixel refresh, brightness limiting, and a 24-hour screen refresh cycle.
The company also offers users a 3-year burn-in warranty. The monitor’s design utilizes graphene cooling, which doesn’t require a fan, ensuring quiet operation. The stand: It supports versatile adjustment options such as tilt, swivel, height adjustment, and portrait use.
Ports include two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4a port, a USB Type-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode support and 15W reverse charging, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The monitor comes with TÜV Rheinland blue light filter, anti-flicker, and anti-reflective certification.
