Netflix announced that they are working on a new anime series based on the globally famous action-adventure game series Devil May Cry. The company mentioned that they have partnered with Capcom, the developer of the game series, for this project.
For those who are unfamiliar, the Devil May Cry game series is based on a story where the main character, Dante, battles demonic creatures and tries to solve paranormal events. Known for its fast-paced gameplay mechanics, the series started with the release of the first installment in 2001.
According to the information provided, the director and showrunner of the anime will be Adi Shankar, who previously had a role in the Netflix-adapted Castlevania anime.
